The room was very clean. Fantastic Power Shower!. We ate in the Pub/Restaurant where the food was lovely and very well presented. Breakfast was beautiful. Atmosphere very relaxed and friendly. The hotel is set in the countryside very close to attractions of the clare coast travelling by car/bicycle. Overall we enjoyed a lovely night away.
The town was extremely quite throughout the year except for Sept which might deter some clientale. we were siutated on the 3rd floor and the window opening might be an area that could be reviewed for safety as it has a broad opening upwards nearly from floor level. Could be an issue for somone who may be unstable and need a breath of fresh air!!

During my recent stay in the Irish countryside, I found the rooms to be clean and presentable. the scent of lemongrass in the lobby was a lovely touch. the breakfast options were plentiful and tasty. I also enjoyed the easy access to local attractions and sites from the hotel's location.
The limited dinner options were disappointing, and some dishes were not visually appealing. the service was hit or miss, with some staff difficult to locate and others seeming uncomfortable with requests.

Our host Kate, was very attentive and helpful, and the food was really terrific. Large, comfortable room with view of garden and very nice bath. Very comfortable public sitting room for rainy day. Great location for exploring the Burren.
